Fish culturists at New Hampshire’s six state trout hatcheries have been holding on, waiting for Mother Nature to provide conditions favorable for spring stocking. Applications for the lottery cost $15 for residents and $25 for non-residents (nonrefundable) and are available online at huntnh.com or from any Fish and Game license agent. Injured climber Nick Pearson told Conservation Officers that as he was finishing the climbing route he secured his ice axes into frozen hard snow and, when he tried to pull himself up, the ice axes gave way causing a 50-60 feet fall before his protection stopped the fall. READ MORE
