MANCHESTER, NH – There are 14 open cases listed on Manchester Police Department’s website, victims of murder whose families and friends continue to wait for answers, and closure.

The most recent case is from August of 2015, when Denise Robert was shot and killed near the intersection of Carpenter and Ray streets while walking, as she often did in the quiet North End neighborhood. She was 62.

Her family launched a Remembering Denise Robert Facebook page in September of 2018 – their way of doing what they can to create public awareness, inviting others to share stories and photos of Denise and, hopefully, generate a tip that might finally help investigators solve this crime. In their own words:

“She wasn’t just a victim – but someone who lived an extraordinary and colorful life. She was a person who persevered despite great challenges. A person who had a positive affect on so many people.

Because of all this, we have decided to create this site as a central place for people to share stories about Denise.”

Police have established an online form for tips as part of the Manchester Crimeline. You can leave an anonymous tip anytime via the Crimeline Questionnaire.

Manchester Crimeline will pay $2,000 for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of any person that committed any of these unsolved homicides.

Across the state there are 138 victims listed on the Department of Justice’s Cold Case list. You can access the list here.
