MANCHESTER, NH  – A man who was arrested Dec. 20 on a drug charge after a convenience store clerk recognized him as the man who allegedly robbed him in November faces new charges in connection to that robbery.

On Dec. 23 Antonio Grullon, 42, was charged in the Nov. 13 armed robbery at TN Gas, 90 Bridge Street.

On December 20, 2014 multiple police units responded to the convenience store at Bridge and Chestnut streets after the clerk sounded a silent alarm. The clerk told police he believed a customer in the store resembled the same man who robbed him at gunpoint on Nov. 13.

Police questioned Grullon and in doing a search of his person, discovered he was in possession of heroin and cocaine, and arrested him.

Detectives Robert Bellenoit, Michael Lavallee and Michael Bergeron collectively worked on the robbery investigation to see if there was a connection and discovered that Grullon, the alleged robber, had frequented TN Gas at least three more times after the Nov. 13 robbery.

The gun used in the original robbery has yet to be recovered. Grullon was due in District Court on December 23, 2014.
