MANCHESTER, NH – A child pornography investigation which began in Londonderry in August 2017 ended with the arrest of a Queen City man on September 18, 2017. Detectives from the Manchester Police Juvenile Unit executed a Londonderry Police Department search warrant at a Sagamore Street address approximately 5 p.m. on Sept. 18, resulting in the arrest of James Fowler, 43, of Manchester.
Manchester Police Detectives Matthew Solari and Robert Tremblay, who are also members of the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, executed the search warrant based on Londonderry Detective Randy Duguay’s investigation involving Fowler. The investigation produced evidence that Fowler possessed images of child pornography, so he applied for and was granted a search warrant for Fowler’s Sagamore Street apartment. Detective Duguay also prepared an arrest warrant for Fowler, however during the investigation Manchester located additional evidence of child pornography, so he was charged in Manchester with one count of possession of child sex abuse images.
Fowler was taken into custody on the Manchester charge, as well as the Londonderry arrest warrant (child pornography). He appeared in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on September 21, 2017. Londonderry Police is expected to take custody of him on Sept. 22, at which time he would appear in their court to face the child pornography charge.
