City man charged with attempted murder

MANCHESTER, NH – Logan Howe, 18, of Manchester, was arraigned July 5, charged with attempted murder after allegedly shooting at a minor with a shotgun back in March.

On March 24, 2016 Manchester Police responded to 21 Ashmere Drive in Manchester to speak with the resident in reference to the shooting.

During the course of the investigation, detectives determined that at 12:30 a.m. on March 23, 2016, a juvenile observed two people in a Blue Ford Fusion drive by his address several times. The juvenile walked outside the home and was standing in the yard when one of the tw0 exited the Ford Fusion, stood in the street in front of the address, and allegedly fired one round from a shot gun in the direction of the juvenile and the residence from 34 feet away.

No one was injured during the incident.

The home was struck, damaging a shutter and some vinyl siding. An extensive investigation ensued resulting in the arrest of Howe, who was charged with attempted homicide. Howe, already incarcerated on two unrelated incidents in May and June, was arraigned in the 9th Circuit District Manchester Tuesday. He is being held on $250,000.00 bail.

Howe is the son of retired Manchester Police Det. Stacey Howe.
