MANCHESTER, NH — GOP Presidential hopefuls Chris Christie, Carly Fiorina and John Kasich will be in town this week, speaking Jan. 5 at Southern NH University during a forum looking at addiction issues.

The event is billed as part of the “Governing Under the Influence”  series, a non-partisan education project of the American Friends Service Committee.

Forum: Tuesday, January 5, 2016 – 9 a.m., Southern NH University, 2500 N. River Road, Manchester.

John Kasich, Carly Fiorina, and Chris Christie are confirmed to speak at a forum on addiction and the heroin/opioid crisis.  Other candidates have been invited.

The forum is sponsored by New Futures, Hope for NH Recovery, Center for Dover’s Youth National Council for Behavioral Health, and Safe Harbor Recovery Center. The forum is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Kasich  is scheduled to speak at 11 a.m. and Fiorina at 12:45 p.m. Christie’s appearance time has not been announced.

Early risers can join a Coffee with Carly meet and greet at the Belmont Hall Restaurant, 718 Grove St., in Manchester Jan. 5 at 8 a.m. where you can ask her your questions and learn about her Blueprint to Take Back Our Country. This event is free and open to the public.
