MANCHESTER, NH – Chris Stewart has submitted his campaign announcement and officially filed Monday for the Ward 1 Aldermanic seat. The seat is currently held by Kevin Cavanaugh, who has announced a run for State Senate.
Stewart’s campaign announcement is below:
I have lived in Manchester since 2005. I am a small business owner and homeowner. I am married and have three young children.
I previously served two terms as the Ward 3 School Board Committeeman.
As Ward 1 Alderman, my top priorities will be ensuring that Manchester is safe, efficient and in a position to leverage the many unique opportunities that come our way.
I believe that Manchester can do a better job of addressing current challenges. I believe that fresh voices and new ideas must be part of the conversation in order to lead Manchester into the 21st century on a path that benefits everyone in our community for years to come.
I will always put the needs of my constituents above politics and I will work hard every day to be a voice for positive change.
