CONCORD, NH – The New Hampshire State Police has released FLIR thermal imaging videos taken by the State Police helicopter during the early morning hours of December 31, as they moved in on Ryan Broulliard, 33, of Franklin, who was being taken into custody by the Central New Hampshire Special Operations Unit at 190 Manchester St., Concord.

Broulliard was involved in a domestic incident Dec. 28 involving a firearm.

The FLIR video is being released to demonstrate how this technology assisted in the multi-jurisdictional, three-day investigation that culminated in the successful apprehension of Broulliard.

In the first video below you can see how clearly the night scene is depicted using FLIR. In the second video, with sound, you can see Broulliard surrender and police taking him into custody while the action is narrated and captured via FLIR.
