Elizabeth was honored at a banquet on Saturday, January 21, at the Sheraton Hotel in Portsmouth, NH.  Her five minute speech on “Why Veterans are Important to our Nation’s History and Future” was received to thunderous applause and a standing ovation.  Liz will now compete on the national level, with an all-expense paid trip to Washington, DC.  In addition, she will participate in a conference at Gettysburg, PA later in the spring as a guest of the VFW.
