MANCHESTER, NH — Screenwriter and actress Lena Dunham and former U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team (USWNT) captain will travel to New Hampshire on January 8 and 9 to stump for Hillary Clinton.
Dunham and Wambach will join Granite Staters at grassroots events throughout New Hampshire to discuss what is at stake in this election [see schedule below].
Dunham, a Golden Globe-winning screenwriter, director, and actress, will join volunteers in Manchester to talk about why she is supporting Hillary Clinton.
Wambach, who led the USWNT to their third World Cup victory last summer and has scored more goals than any other soccer player in American history, will meet with Granite Staters in Dover, Salem, and Concord on Friday before kicking off grassroots canvasses in Keene and Lebanon on Saturday.
