Catterfly was thought to be a feral barn-candidate upon her arrival to the shelter, as she would hiss at anyone who even walked by her cage. But with some time she has truly metamorphosed into a family-ready feline.
She was just so very scared, poor thing. After learning she could trust us, all she now wants is love. If you open her cage she will rub right up against you and want to snuggle. She still has her moments, but never uses claws or sinks her teeth in, so for this reason the shelter advises no young children.
Catterfly is just 1 year old, and she loves to play. As a very active, energetic cat, she hopes for a home with room to run and have fun.
Come meet Catterfly at PetSmart in Manchester at 777 South Willow Street. PetSmart Adoption hours are Monday – Friday 6-8 p.m. (except Wednesdays) and weekends 1-3 p.m.
The adoption fee for adult cats includes is $85 and includes the following: spay or neuter procedure; 1 year Rabies vaccination; distemper vaccination, microchip and combo test of FIV (feline AIDS) and FeLV (feline leukemia). Other medical care provided might include treatments for fleas, ear mites, dental work or infections or other medical conditions. Additional kitten vaccinations will be the responsibility of the adopter.
