Obituaries for the Moody-Harrison family, victims of Wilson Street fire

MANCHESTER, NH — A family of four, Joshua A. Harrison, Sr. 33; Ailene W. Moody, 39; Joshua A. Harrison II, 10; and Jay Michael Garon, 8; passed away June 6, 2016 as a result of a house fire on Wilson Street.

Joshua A. Harrison Sr., was born in San Bernardino, CA, on March 29, 1983, the son of Scott and Cheryl (Stuart) Harrison. He had worked as a dish washer for Marguerite’s Restaurant earlier in his career. He enjoyed bike riding and music. He loved tattoos, body art and piercings, and telling stories. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Family members include his father of Hancock, and a brother, Zachary Harrison of Hillsboro.


Ailene W. (Chapman) Moody was born in Nashua on December 4, 1976, the daughter of Michael Doyle and Ellen Chapman. She spend her youth growing up in East Corinth, ME, and was a graduate of Central High School in Corinth. She was very proud to have been from Maine. For the past 21 years, she had been a NH resident. She was working for E & R Cleaners. She was a hard-working mother and loved her children. Family members include her mother of Manchester; a daughter, Amy Moody of Manchester; two brothers, Shawn Chapman of Epping and Ryan Chapman of Alton, ME. She lost her life along with her longtime boyfriend, Joshua A. Harrison, Sr. and her two sons, Joshua A. Harrison II and Jay Michael Garon.

He was a fourth-grader at Wilson Elementary School. He loved math, reading, SpongeBob and Spiderman. He was active with ROCA Kidz Club. He is survived by his maternal grandmother, Ellen Chapman of Manchester; and his sister, Amy Moody of Manchester.


 

Jay Michael Garon, 8, was born in Manchester on September 13, 2007, the son of Jamie Garon and Ailene (Chapman) Moody. He was a third-grader at Wilson Elementary School. He loved to chase girls, cause trouble, and make people laugh. He liked superheroes and Batman. He also enjoyed going to ROCA Kidz Club. Family members include his father of Manchester; his maternal grandmother, Ellen Chapman of Manchester, and his sister, Amy Moody of Manchester.

A memorial gathering for the family will take place at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations maybe be made to the ROCA Kidz Club to help others affected and displaced by the Wilson Street fire at www.rocakidzclub.com.
