MANCHESTER, NH — As is the tradition, the city will celebrate Independence Day with fireworks on July 3 at Arms Park. Admission is free.

The park will close to vehicles at 6 p.m. and Commercial Street will be restricted to pedestrian traffic after 8 p.m.  Entertainment will be provided by the 39th Army Band beginning at 7:30 p.m. and will play for approximately two hours, until the fireworks presentation by Atlas Pyro Vision Productions, begins around 9:30 p.m.

Food and beverage vendors will be on site by 6 p.m., or you are welcome to carry in your own food. However, no alcoholic beverages are allowed, and no glass bottles will be permitted in the park. Foot and vehicular traffic on the Notre Dame Bridge (Bridge Street) will be closed at 8 a.m. to midnight.

Rain date is July 5.
