MANCHESTER, NH – At approximately 4 a.m. Manchester VA Medical Center suffered a catastrophic mechanical pipe failure resulting in the flooding and severe water damage on a number of floors at the facility.
At this time, all employees are asked to be present as scheduled and check in at the first floor, Training & Education Room for further instructions.
The process to contact patients with appointments in the affected areas is underway. For patients familiar with the facility, the health care services provided on the 1st floor and 2nd floor is not impacted.
The VA hospital was in the news earlier this week following allegations of mismanagement.
