At approximately 5:15 a.m., Officer Amanda Smith responded to a report of a vehicle into a utility pole in front of 526 Hanover St., near Beacon Street.

Officer Smith arrived to find the vehicle, a 2013 Nissan Rogue, had snapped a utility pole, and the car was still suspended in the air and caught up in the wires.

Manchester Fire Department rescuers had to cut Vincent from the vehicle. She was conscious and alert, police said, and was transported to the Elliot Hospital. Police say Vincent displayed signs of impairment and admitted to consuming alcohol prior to driving.

Vincent was summoned to appear in the 9th Circuit District Court in Manchester to answer to the charge of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
