Car explodes at industrial fuel supplier on South Willow Street, injuries reported

MANCHESTER, NH – Several people were injured in an explosion Monday morning at an industrial fuel supply company near the airport.

Early reports from the scene indicate a private vehicle pulling up to the loading dock at Matheson – Northeast Zone industrial fuel dispensary at 4080 South Willow St. reportedly had acetylene tanks in the trunk. When the trunk mechanism was released the vehicle exploded. Manchester police said there were no fatalities reported, however several persons were injured, including the vehicle operator.

Matheson is located near the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport.
