MANCHESTER, NH – A special state election to fill the vacancy in the office of state representative in Hillsborough County District 44 (Manchester Wards 8 & 9) will be held on May 23, 2017 between the hours of 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. in wards 8 and 9 only.

Following the special District 44 election, a special election will be held in Hillsborough District 16 (Manchester Wards 1, 2, & 12) to fill the vacancy in the office of state senate following the passing of Rep. Scott McGilvray.  This special election will feature a primary election held on June 16, 2017 and a general election held on July 25, 2017.  Both elections will be held between the hours of 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. in Wards 1, 2, & 12 only.
