Last-minute change of venue for March 10 Job Fair

MANCHESTER, NH – A job fair by the NH Employment Security office will be held March 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. George Cathedral, 650 Hanover Street.

The event was moved from Sweeney Post to St. George Cathedral by organizers after more employers came forward to participate.

New Hampshire Employment Security is hosting the job fair in collaboration with the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, The New Hampshire Committee of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), The New Hampshire National Guard, The New Hampshire Department of Labor, The U.S. Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (DOL VETS), and a number of local partners to present the Manchester Job and Resource Fair.

This event will offer opportunities for job-seekers interested in entry-level as well as skilled and professional positions. The Manchester Job and Resource Fair welcome all Veterans and Veteran Friendly Employers, and is open to all job seekers.

“Events like the Manchester Job and Resource Fair, which connect New Hampshire’s talented workers with employers looking to hire, are a critical part of our efforts to strengthen our innovation economy,” Governor Maggie Hassan said. “By sponsoring this Job and Resource Fair, New Hampshire Employment Security is helping to support a strong middle class and a stronger, more innovative New Hampshire.”

Commissioner George Copadis of New Hampshire Employment Security said, “Job creation is the number one priority of New Hampshire Employment Security and with each Job and Resource Fair and with all of our re-employment programs provided at each of our local offices located across the state, we are delivering on our promises to connect our residents with real opportunities.”
