The Red Sox had a banner year in 2018. Best start ever in franchise history ended in playoff domination and lopsided World Series victory. The Patriots had the second seed in the AFC playoffs. They rolled through the playoffs and won decisively in the Super Bowl with a dominant defense.

Now it’s the Bruins turn to do something no other teams have done in the U.S.

If they can win Game 7 tonight it will be the first time in U.S. history any city has won three major sports titles all in one year.

Amazing year for Boston, no matter what happens. I’m certainly rooting for the Bruins to receive the baton passed first by the Sox to the Patriots, and go on to be the Stanley Cup champions.
