Bank robber demands cash, then flees Citizen’s Bank empty-handed

MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester Police are investigating an attempted robbery at Citizen’s Bank, 1550 Elm St., just before noon on Friday.

At 11:53 a.m. on January 22 a bank teller was approached by a man who demanded cash. He handed the teller a note to that effect, but fled before obtaining cash.

He was last seen exiting the bank on foot and traveled east on Brook Street and may have entered a vehicle at that point.

He is described as a white male, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-9 inches tall with a slim build, unshaven, wearing a white Patriots hat, clear glasses with black rims and a two-tone royal blue/dark blue coat.
