MANCHESTER, NH — Brenda Noiseux has announced her intention to run for the Ward 7 aldermen seat.

Noiseux says it’s her Manchester pride that drives her commitment to make the Queen City the Granite State go-to for attracting a talented workforce, young families, and new businesses.

“As young professionals, my family and I chose to make Manchester our home. Fourteen years later, I stand by that choice. Manchester is brimming with untapped potential while facing complex 21st-century challenges. It’s critical to have forward-thinking leaders who can engage community stakeholders and I have experience with both,” she says.

Noiseux says her experience in the technology industry and as a business owner shapes her use of strategic planning, data, project management, and effective communication to help ensure success.

She says running for Alderman in 2017 deepened her commitment to give Ward 7 residents an alderman who champions them. Running also gave her insight into other ways to become engaged with city government, leading her to become a member of the city’s Conservation Commission in 2018.

Noiseux wants to see more Mancunians engaged in local government, including young people, women and people of color. She hopes that by running for alderman, she can continue to provide insight into the process and inspire more people to vote, get to know their elected representatives, help out with a campaign, or run for office themselves.

“Manchester is perfectly sized and situated for getting involved and making a difference. I’m excited to do my part encouraging engagement in Manchester’s nonpartisan city elections by running for Ward 7 Alderman.”
