Breaking: 1 dead, 1 injured in Union Street shooting

MANCHESTER, NH – [3:30 p.m.] Police are investigating a fatal shooting on Union Street, near Spruce Street.

Screen Shot 2016-06-01 at 3.36.15 PMAt approximately 3:30 p.m. report of shots fired in the area of  Seven Days Market, 360 Union St., came in to police. They arrived to find one victim who was mortally wounded and a second victim who was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The scene is active and police are working the area at this time. The Attorney General’s office is handing the investigation going forward due to the fatality, according to Manchester Police Lt. Brian O’Keefe.
