MANCHESTER, NH — An 11-year-old boy was rescued from a sewer pipe located in a field behind Southside Middle School on Wednesday.
The boy crawled into the pipe and became trapped behind a protective gate, and was unable to climb out. Manchester Firefighters responded to the scene and were able to pull the boy out, after using bolt cutters to open the grate.
The child was uninjured, and a parent arrived and met firefighters on the scene.
