Boston man charged with 1st-degree murder in West Side shooting

Screenshot 2015-11-20 at 8.51.36 AMMANCHESTER, NH — A Boston man has been charged with first-degree murder in the Nov. 3 shooting death of Michael Pittman.

Michael Younge, 25, last known address of 2 Soldiers Field Park, Boston, Mass., was arrested Nov. 19 in Manchester.

Police released a surveillance photo of Younge on Nov 19 seeking the public’s help in locating him. He was arrested a short time later by Manchester Police with the assistance of NH State Police.

Younge has been charged with first-degree murder for purposely causing the death of Michael Pitman, 37, by shooting him in the torso. The shooting occurred outside a residence located at 472 Granite St.

He is scheduled for arraignment 11 a.m. Nov. 20 at the 9th Circuit Court in Manchester, New Hampshire.
