MANCHESTER, NH  – Six New Hampshire students have earned educational scholarships thanks to Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, including three graduates of Manchester School of Technology.

Congratulations to Rebeka Aherrera, Yakeline Arambula, Lydea Rowell, Tamara Sarazua, Logan Harper, and Brianna White, recipients of the Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Career & Technical Education Scholarships. These six 2019 high school graduates attended a technical career program as part of their high school curriculum and were awarded the scholarship based upon their academic success and determination to further advance their education and vocational skills. Rebeka Aherrera, a 2019 graduate of Nashua High School is pursuing a degree in nursing.

Rebeka Aherrera, resides in Nashua, is a graduate of Nashua High School and attended Nashua Tech Center – South. She is enrolled at Colby-Sawyer College pursuing a degree in Nursing.

Yakeline Arambula, resides in Manchester, is a graduate of Manchester School of Technology. He is enrolled at New Hampshire Technical Institute pursuing a degree in Architectural Engineering.

Lydea Rowell, resides in Manchester, is a graduate of Manchester School of Technology. She is enrolled at the University of New England pursuing a degree in Marine Biology.

Tamara Sarazua, resides in Manchester, is a graduate of Manchester School of Technology. She is enrolled at Rivier University pursuing a degree in Pre-Professional Healthcare.

Logan Harper, resides in Newport, is a graduate of Newport Middle-High School and attended Sugar River Valley Regional Tech. He is enrolled at Manchester Community College pursuing a degree in Master Auto Tech.

Brianna White, a 2019 graduate of Lebanon High School, is pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education.

Brianna White, resides in Lebanon, is a graduate of Lebanon High School and attended Hartford Area Career and Technology Center. She is enrolled at Plymouth State University pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education.

Bar Harbor Bank & Trust awarded 15 Career & Technical Education scholarships of $1,500 each to 2019 high school graduates in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Application criteria included attending a technical career program (in designated geographies) as part of their high school curriculum, describing their career aspirations and college choice in a personal statement, as well as sharing their leadership and community service experiences.
