MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police responded to a reported stabbing at 452 Pine St. at approximately 5 p.m. Jan. 30. Officers located Jay Bingel, 38, of Manchester, inside of the apartment building, who was bleeding from a 1.5-inch laceration on his back. The man told police he was involved in an altercation with the property manager when the stabbing occurred.

Police did not elaborate on the nature of the argument.

Bingel was treated for his non-life threatening injury at an area hospital and later released. However, Bingel was wanted on several outstanding warrants, so he was placed into custody and transported to police headquarters.

Bingel is scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on January 31, 2018 for domestic-related warrants.
