Trump returning to NH next week
President Trump will be in Manchester next week for a “Keep America Great” rally at the SNHU Arena Aug. 15 at 7 p.m.  It will be Trump’s first campaign event in the Granite State since he packed the SNHU Arena on the eve of the 2016 general election, and his second trip to NH since he was elected. The president made an official visit in March of last year, when he unveiled his plan to combat the opioid crisis at an event at Manchester Community College. No word yet on how much the rally will cost the city, not a minor question, based on other cities Trump’s campaign has yet to pay.

Buttigieg’s shakes up NH staff

Pete for America announced Thursday the addition of a Data Director and four Regional Organizing Directors to its New Hampshire operation. The campaign now has 40 staffers in New Hampshire — including 33 staffers who are focused on organizing.

The growing team is already organizing in every county and talking to Granite Staters about why Pete is the best candidate to fix our broken political and economic system.

Avinash Saraf joins Pete For America as the New Hampshire Data Director. Previously, he served as a business analyst at McKinsey and Company and an associate at 270 Strategies.

Pete For America also announced that Jesse Braughton, Trevor Fifer, Marrayam Khera, and Lucy Arthur-Paratley will help lead PFA’s growing organizing team as Regional Organizing Directors. Braughton, who served as an organizer on the Seacoast for the New Hampshire Democratic Coordinated Campaign in 2018, will oversee organizers across Rockingham County. Fifer will be based in the North Country working with organizers in Coos, Grafton, and Carroll Counties, Khera in Hillsborough County, and Arthur-Paratley will be in Cheshire and Sullivan Counties.

Buttigieg recently released a comprehensive plan to double unionization rates, raise wages, and expand labor rights with significant impacts on Granite Staters.
