MANCHESTER, NH – The Palace Theatre will be holding local auditions for its upcoming productions of “Sister Act,” “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas,” and “A Christmas Carol.” Auditions will be held on Saturday, August 6 at 2 p.m. at the Palace 80 Hanover Street, in Manchester. Auditions are for professional actors ages 16 and up. Please note that these auditions are not for the Youth Ensemble in A Christmas Carol – these will be held at a later date.
Dancer call will be promptly at 2 p.m.. Please bring 16 bars that best show off your vocal abilities in the event that you are called back to sing. An accompanist will be provided.
Singer calls will begin at 2:30 p.m. Please bring 16 bars that best show off your voice (an accompanist will be provided), and bring dance clothes in the event that you are asked to stay and dance/move after.
All shows begin rehearsal the two weeks leading up to Opening Night, and all show dates can be found at palacetheatre.org.
