More arrests in Operation Granite Hammer; drugs, cash, guns seized

MANCHESTER, NH —  Manchester Police made its seventh drug-sweep under the jurisdiction of Operation Granite Hammer, resulting in multiple arrests and confiscation of $22,000 in cash, along with more than $26,000 in drugs, and seven guns, police said.

On Jan. 28 Manchester Police Department Special Enforcement Division, Manchester Police Department SWAT team, New Hampshire State Police Narcotics Investigations Unit and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration began the operation in the early morning hours, and as a result, the following people were arrested:

Victoria Guay, 33 of Manchester, arrested on a bench warrant and also charged with possession of a controlled drug (30 mg Morphine pill).

Sean Varney, 29 of Manchester, charged with two counts possession of a controlled drug (5.3 grams heroin and 4.2 grams cocaine).

Khalled Diomande, 21 of Francistown, charged with possession with intent to distribute counterfeit drug -heroin (38.4 grams) and possession of a controlled drug (marijuana 2 grams).

Nahjae White, 21 of Center Barnstead, charged with possession of a controlled drug- crack (1 gram).

Joshua Lessard, 29 of Manchester, charged with possession with intent to distribute counterfeit drug-heroin (38.4 grams) and possession of a controlled drug (marijuana 2 grams). All five were scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on January 29, 2016.

Also arrested:

Phillip Bishop, 48, of Manchester, arrested on a sale of a controlled drug (cocaine) warrant. He was released on $2,000 cash/surety and is scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on February 4, 2016.

John Dumont, 42 ,of Manchester, was arrested on sale of a controlled drug (heroin) warrant. He was released on $10,000 personal recognizance bail. He is scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on March 2, 2016.

Brenda Masiko, 29, No Fixed Address was arrested on a warrant-hold for other agency. Court and bail information is not available at this time.

Theresa Copella, 21, of Manchester, (no booking photo available) was arrested on a warrant-hold for other agency. Court and bail information is not available at this time.

Kyle Rajaniemi, 27, Antrim, was arrested on a warrant. Court and bail information is not available at this time.

Kenneth Hartzmovitch, 31, of Manchester, was arrested on a warrant. Court and bail information is not available at this time.

Jennifer Ives, 34 of Center Barnstead, was arrested on an electronic bench warrant. She was released on $1,000 cash/surety and scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on March 3, 2016.

In total, officers confiscated more than $22,000 in cash and seized the following drugs; 4.2 grams of cocaine ($200 value), 85.5 grams of heroin ($400 value), 38.4 grams counterfeit heroin, 14 grams crystal methamphetamine ($2,800 value), 110 grams marijuana ($200), 18 oxycodone pills ($440 value) and several other prescription pills. They also seized one shotgun, one AR-15, one AR-22 and four handguns and made 12 arrests.

Operation Granite Hammer began in September 2015 and each operation lasts between eight and 16 hours. Since then, the aforementioned agencies have arrested 77 people and seized the following; $51,192.00 in cash, 690.1 grams of heroin, 18.8 grams of Cocaine, 139.9 grams of crystal methamphetamines, 805 grams of marijuana, 33 oxycodone pills, five handguns, four long rifles and two vehicles from those engaging in illegal activities within the city of Manchester.
