Armed robbery at 61 Market on Maple Street

MANCHESTER, NH – On February 15, 2019 at approximately 6:42 p.m. officers from the Manchester Police Department responded to the 61 Market located at 61 Maple St. for a panic alarm.

The Manchester Police Communications Division made contact with the store and the clerk indicated that the store had just been robbed gunpoint. Upon the arrival of patrol units, it was learned that a man entered the store, threatened the clerk with a firearm and demanded money.

The robber was described as a white male, approximately 20-30 years old, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot 10 inches tall wearing a black mask, black hooded sweatshirt, and dark jeans.

Police dogs were used to track in the area, but the robber was not located.
