Coldwell Banker Trick or Treat (3)

MANCHESTER, NH – Intown Manchester’s  4th Annual  Zombie Walk will take place on Saturday, October 24 starting at 2 p.m. at the Brady Sullivan Plaza at 1000 Elm Street. This is a free event and open to zombies of all ages.

Intown’s Zombie Walk is an organized gathering of people dressed up in zombie costumes that quickly and safely enter a public area all together to surprise the general public and create some spooky fun. Once again this year, free makeup will be done to complete the zombie transformation prior to the walk outside at the Brady Sullivan Plaza at 1000 Elm Street from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. All wannabe zombies are invited. Please note, if you need to get makeup applied, you must arrive prior to 12:30 p.m. to guarantee you’ll get zombified.

The walk itself will begin at 2 p.m. at the Brady Sullivan Plaza at 1000 Elm Street. Zombies will then creep their way around downtown toward the final destination—Milly’s Tavern.

For its fourth year, the Zombie Walk will continue its tradition — a trick-or-treat. Along the route “zombie-friendly” downtown businesses will be handing out candy and treats. The Zombie Route will be sure to include all of these stops.

Start of Walk at 1000 (4)Walkers are encouraged to patronize downtown businesses before and after the walk. Many downtown businesses will have a “Zombie Friendly” sign in their window encouraging zombies to stop by. Please check our Facebook Event for a running list of these ‘Zombie Friendly’ businesses.

“Now in our fourth year, we are looking forward to this year’s zombie walk being the best ever,” said Sara Beaudry, Executive Director of Intown Manchester. “There is nothing quite like seeing hundreds of zombies of all ages creeping through downtown! The imagination and creativity of those who participate is always a spooky delight! We are so excited to have the Palace Theatre as a sponsor. They are not only known as a haunted location and one of the most historic sites in Manchester, they are an amazing community partner and we are so happy to work with them on the Zombie Walk. Especially while they are producing the Halloween classic—The Addams Family!”

Stay tuned to Intown Manchester’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts (all @intownmanch) for fun zombie tips! When dealing with a zombie apocalypse, or even just a Zombie Walk, one can’t be too prepared!

Those who are interested in partaking in the Zombie Walk are asked to RSVP to the Facebook event and just show up on Saturday, October 24th at 2:00pm at 1000 Elm Street. The walk is about a mile long. Walkers are asked to wear comfy shoes. Again, this event is all ages, but we warned! The littlest zombies could get a little spooked!
