During the event, entitled “Corruption or Justice: American Democracy at a Crossroads,” Steyer will participate in an armchair discussion with Josh McElveen, a media consultant and former political director for WMUR-TV, to make the case that, “Donald Trump is the most extreme symptom of a corrupted political system — and that impeaching him is part of a larger fight to give power back to the people.”

In addition to calling for the impeachment of Donald Trump, Steyer said he intends to, “Lay out a positive, progressive vision for the 21st century.”

Steyer launched Need to Impeach on October 20, 2017, with an initial $40 million investment to raise the voices of people across the country who were angered by Trump’s presidency and policies. Earlier this year, Steyer committed an additional $40 million in 2019 toward impeaching Trump.

NH Institute of Politics is located AT 100 Saint Anselm Drive in Manchester.
