MANCHESTER, NH — MidWeek in Manchester Antiques Show is returning to Manchester after a four-year run in Concord. The show that started Antiques Week in New Hampshire will be premiering at its new location on August 10, 1-6 p.m. and August 11, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the JFK Memorial Coliseum, 303 Beech St., Manchester, with more than 50 exceptional and talented dealers in room setting displays.

When the Inn was sold we found a new home at the Furniture World Building until that facility sold, then moved to Concord for three years. With Concord being 20 miles away from the other antiques week events and the JFK Coliseum available, the decision was made to bring the show south and back into the ‘action,’  said show manager Frank Gaglio. “We are very excited with our new home and will present great exhibitors offering exceptional antiques at buyable prices.”

Free parking, a show café by Alan’s of Boscawen, complimentary decorating and antiques magazines, air conditioning, handicap accessibility, complimentary shuttle from area hotels to the show Wednesday from noon to 6 p.m., plus unlimited re entry both days.

With exhibitors coming from 12 states and Canada, some of the categories of material presented this year will be American and English furnishings and accessories, fine and folk art, estate and vintage jewelry and watches, creamware and rare ceramics, Inuit art and carvings, samplers and fine porcelain, Black Forest carvings, Woolies, 17th and 18th century brass candlesticks and lighting, early portraits, silhouettes, nautical, Oriental rugs, rare and vintage posters, early redware and stoneware pottery, period and folk frames, quilts and early textiles, weathervanes and trade signs, Pennsylvania painted and decorated furniture, fractur and so much more.
