MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police, accompanied by the Drug Enforcement Administration, on May 5 arrested Preston Thorpe, 24, of 50 Sentinel Court, Manchester, at approximately 1 p.m. today.

Police detectives located Thorpe at the Best Western Hotel, located at 13500 South Willow St., after an anonymous caller provided information regarding his location. Thorpe was placed into custody without incident.

Chief Nick Willard would like to thank all of the participating law enforcement agencies, both near and far, and the media for the efforts put forth to apprehend Preston Thorpe. He is currently charged with possession of a controlled drug (carfentanil) based on the arrest warrant signed last week.

Thorpe is also charged with a parole violation, so he will most likely appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on Monday May 8, 2017.
