MANCHESTER, NH – The 2018 Manchester Christmas Parade presented by UNH Manchester, Cross Insurance Autofair, and Intown Manchester will be held Saturday, December 1, 2018 on Elm Street in Downtown Manchester. The parade begins at 4 p.m. and the route starts at 1750 Elm St. and ends at the intersection of Elm Street and Lake Avenue/Granite Street.

The theme for this year’s parade is “Rocking through the Holidays!”! There’s no doubt that Christmas is a magical time, especially in Downtown! With the streets decorated, storefronts lit up, lively music playing from the bands, and children eagerly awaiting Santa, this is sure to be a rocking parade full of Christmas Cheer!

Sara Beaudry, Executive Director for Intown Manchester, couldn’t be more excited about the community support – and outlook – for this year’s parade, including the weather outlook, currently expected to be partly sunny with a high of 40 degrees.

“Our annual parade continues to be the kick-off for the Holiday season for Downtown” said Beaudry. “With our fantastic sponsors, Cross Insurance and UNH Manchester we cannot wait to bring the holiday cheer to the streets of Manchester. Be sure to bring the family for a night to remember!”

This year, Manchester Proud was chosen to be the Grand Marshal of the Manchester Christmas Parade and will be walking with students, teachers, volunteers and other community members. Autofair will be joining us as the official car of the Christmas Parade and will be driving Mayor Joyce Craig down the parade route. We are also proud to announce that Frank FM (106.3) will be joining us as the host/MCs of the evening as well as them joining us as our media partner.
