MANCHESTER, NH – Brian C. Randlett, 56, of Coolidge Avenue, passed away peacefully at home on January 2, 2018, after injuries sustained in an accidental fall.
He was born in Manchester on March 19, 1961, the son of Eugene and Elizabeth Randlett of Allenstown, and Charles E. Dennis Jr. of Manchester. Brian enjoyed his 10-year employment with the Way Home up until an injury forced him into early retirement. One passion of his was construction work, which he did throughout his entire life.
He enjoyed sports, darts, horseshoes and was an avid Red Sox fan who attended season opening games every year in Ft. Meyers, FL. His passion was football (Oakland Raiders) until he felt the NFL player’s decision of kneeling was disrespectful to the American flag, and the service members who he cared very deeply for. Brian had an infectious and mischievous smile who mastered the art of making people laugh, even at their own expense. One of his many hobbies was swiping lighters from family and friends to return as Christmas presents. He has left lasting and cherished memories in the hearts and minds of the people who loved him and his presence will be greatly missed.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Charles E. Dennis Sr., and wife Ernestine, of Manchester; Minnie Webster of Ossipee; as well as Ethel Stanbery and Edgar Randlett, both of Manchester.
He leaves behind his son Corey Randlett of Auburn; grandson Brandon Randlett; two brothers Timothy Randlett and wife Cyndi of Derry, and Mark Randlett of Laconia; three sisters Deborah DiGloria and husband Mike of Manchester, Susan Labbe of Manchester; and Christina Carmilia of Rochester; special aunts and uncles Christina Dean and husband David of Rochester, Bob Dennis and wife Nancy of Manchester, Alfred (Unkie) Webster of Ossipee, Barbara Hall of Akron, OH, and Ronnie Dennis of Manchester; Brian was blessed to have a special buddy, Pedro Rubio of Manchester, NH; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many friends.
SERVICES: A gathering will be held at Phaneuf Funeral Home and Crematorium located at 250 Coolidge Ave. Manchester, on Saturday January 6, 2018 from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers Brian requested donations be made to the Boston’s Children’s Hospital Cancer Center in honor of his special nephew William E. Dimick who lost his courageous battle with cancer at 2 ½ years of age.
