unnamed1PORTLAND, Maine – This week, the Eastern League announced the 2018 Season Ending All-Star Team, with six of its 13 members coming from New Hampshire.

Current Fisher Cats Cavan Biggio, Bo Bichette, Harold Ramirez and Jordan Romano joined centerfielder Jonathan Davis and third baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. on the squad, along with Reading’s Deivi Grullon, Altoona’s Will Craig and Ke’Bryan Hayes, Trenton’s Trey Amburgey, Bowie’s Corban Joseph and Keegan Akin, Binghamton’s Levi Michael, and Hartford’s Matt Pierpont.

Guerrero Jr. and Davis earned promotion to Triple-A Buffalo earlier this season, with Romano also briefly making an appearance on Buffalo’s roster.

During the Fisher Cats’ 15-year history, the franchise never had more than three players named to the Season Ending All-Star Team, with no Fisher Cats named to the list in 2017. This year also marks the first time New Hampshire has placed a third baseman on the list, as well as the first time there have been two Fisher Cat outfielders.

Among the 14 Fisher Cats named to the list in previous years, only three (Manuel Mayorson ’06, Scott Campbell ’08, Brian Dopirak ’09) did not eventually appear on a Major League Baseball roster.
