MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police arrested Isaac Velez, 19, of Hooksett, New Hampshire July 21 in the area of Beech Street School on a contempt of court warrant. Velez allegedly violated his court-imposed curfew during the weekend, so Detective Patrick Houghton prepared Contempt of Court warrants for Velez.
Velez was originally arrested on July 9 and charged with reckless conduct for his alleged involvement in the South Street shootings, which occurred earlier in July.
He was released on $5,000 bail for his original offense, but the magistrate implemented a curfew of 11 p.m. through 6 a.m. to help quell the violence. Velez was located near the Beech Street School playground and was taken into custody without incident. He will appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on today’s date.
