On Tuesday, April 23 at 10 a.m., St. Anselm College will celebrate the 455th anniversary of William Shakespeare’s birth, continuing a 30-year tradition started at the college in 1989, with a reading of all of Shakespeare’s 154 sonnets. The event will again be held in the college quad, rain or shine, winding up around 4 p.m.
What began as a reading of the sonnets has expanded to include returning alumni and Shakespearen acting troupes like the Recycled Shakespeare Company (RSC) of Fairfield, Maine.
