The Akron Rubber Ducks took the first game of their series with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on Tuesday night with a 4-3 walk-off victory.

New Hampshire got on the board first with a Harold Ramirez fifth inning triple, bringing home Gunnar Heidt. Ramirez would come across the plate later in the inning thanks to a single from Emilio Guerrero.

Akron battled back with an RBI single from Greg Allen in the bottom of the fifth, bringing home Taylor Murphy, followed by solo homers in the sixth by Bobby Bradley and Yu-Cheng Chang that tied up the contest.

Bradley would break the deadlock in the bottom of the ninth with a one-out infield single that let Greg Allen cross the plate.

Taylor Murphy led the way offensively for Akron, going 3-for-4 on the evening, with Guerrero and Richard Urena each contributing two hits for the Fisher Cats.

New Hampshire starting pitcher Conner Green lasted five innings, allowing three runs off five hits, walking four and striking out four.
