AG joins investigation, deems ‘untimely’ toddler death ‘suspicious’

MANCHESTER, NH – The NH Attorney General’s office has joined an investigation into what Manchester Police initially determined was an “untimely” death of a 2-year-old boy on Monday.

Manchester police officers responded to 551 Howe Street at 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 11 for the report of an unconscious toddler. The child was transported to the Elliot Hospital, but was pronounced dead a short time later.

At this time, the cause of the toddler’s death appears suspicious.

An autopsy is expected tomorrow to determine the cause and manner of death. In the meantime, an investigation is active and ongoing into the circumstances that led to the child’s death. Updates will be provided as information becomes available
