MANCHESTER, NH – Several hundred Eversource Energy customers in Manchester and Londonderry experienced a power outage Thursday afternoon due to an equipment failure on a utility pole in Londonderry at about 1:15 p.m.
The equipment failure initially caused 615 customers in Londonderry near the Manchester border, and in Manchester near Huse Road, to experience a power “flicker,” according to Eversource spokesman Martin Murray.
However, a total of 188 customers lost power until about 1:55 p.m. when power was restored to all but 57 customers. The remaining customers had power restored about 3:15 p.m. when crews completed work replacing the failed equipment.
