MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Adirondack Thunder have avenged their Friday night loss with an 8-1 win over the Manchester Monarchs on Saturday night in the second part of their two-game series at SNHU Arena.

The Monarchs have generally excelled when scoring first in games this season, but Saturday proved to be the exception to the rule, as Nic Pierog’s early goal did not hold for long.

Just over a minute later, Jakob Reichert scored the first of his three goals on the evening. Matias Cleland, Peter MacArthur, Conor Riley, Dylan Walchuk and Kelly Summers also contributed goals while Summers, MacArthur and James Henry ended with multiple assists.

Manchester starting goaltender Cole Kehler allowed four of the eight goals, leaving after just over 28 minutes of ice time.
