The story-telling magic of ABBA’s timeless songs propels this enchanting tale of love, laughter and friendship, creating an unforgettable show. A large cast, non-stop laughs and explosive dance numbers combine to make Mamma Mia! a guaranteed smash hit! A mother. A daughter. Three possible dads. And a trip down the aisle you’ll never forget! <source mtishows.com>

Mamma Mia! is Directed by Angèlica Rosenthal, Musical Direction by Jonathan Plouffe and Choreographed by Jennifer Ryder.

Angèlica Rosenthal, an up and coming director is excited to be tackling a show like Mamma Mia and says “This show is not only filled with timeless music but is also a story about family, friendship and love and the actors are very in tune with all these aspects. The cast is diverse in all facets and has become a melting pot of ideas and knowledge. Working with all of them I learn just as much as I’m giving them. From lead to dancer to ensemble member each cast member is extremely talented and dedicated. Mamma Mia has become a well-balanced and oiled machine with all the designers, actors and hopefully soon the audience. This is truly the recipe for a great show that will have audience members singing the songs they love along with the actors on stage.”

Jonathan Plouffe, who has music directed over 20 shows explains “Mamma Mia is a very exciting, fun-filled show with music we all know and love! Abba laid the groundwork for this show, and this Actorsingers cast is pushing it forward. Our leads are some of the most talented performers with whom I have had to pleasure of working. This is a very “music-driven” show, containing 24 songs and 3 encores, yet the time flies by with this talented cast. The ensemble we have put together needed to be spectacular due to their presence in EVERY musical number, and I can tell you they do not disappoint. Their harmonies are at times full and fun, short and pointed, and hauntingly beautiful. Paired with our lead actors, an equally stellar dance ensemble and an 8-piece orchestra of some of the best musicians New Hampshire and Massachusetts has to offer, you have a show that will drive you out of your seat for the encore performances and keep dancing in the aisles. This is a party! A celebration of family and love you do not want to miss!”

Choreographer Jennifer Ryder has choreographed for theatre groups in southern NH.  Jennifer excitedly remarks, “There are 19 Choreographed Dances in Mamma Mia! I’m so honored to have the opportunity to work with such an incredibly talented cast on this upbeat show! Working with these actors has been nothing short of an amazing experience. Mamma Mia is an extremely dance intensive show that calls for an ensemble of triple threats. These actors have stepped up to the plate and then some, giving me the opportunity to choreograph dances that push the typical theatrical experience to the limit. These dances are fun, hilarious, sexy, high energy, and sure to have each audience member dancing in their seats!”

Jennifer Sue (Mallard) Rockwell who plays Donna says “I’ve always loved Mamma Mia, for the story, the characters journeys and the music. I feel incredibly blessed to be able to tap into a role that I see so much of myself in. Jessica Dee and Kath Palmer are playing my bffs in the show, getting to know and work with them in real life has been the most fun so far!!”
