MANCHESTER, NH – Guide wires and a utility pole were struck on East Industrial Park Drive Sept. 6 at around 9:30 a.m., knocking out power to nearly 5,000 businesses and residences in the city.

It appears the power outage from the utility pole also caused a minor transformer fire.
