The year’s largest New Hampshire event protesting immigrant detention and deportation will occur on Sunday, August 16. The “Solidarity Network Day of Action for Immigrant Justice” is expected to draw over 200 vehicles with drivers and passengers. READ MORE
Never Again Action NH, the group that has been organizing car rallies in support of releasing civilly-detained immigrants from the Strafford County Jail, received a note of thanks and support from the wife of one of the detained men. READ MORE
While bicyclists and kayakers enjoyed the first Sunday in May, activists drove in their fourth consecutive car rally at Strafford County Department of Corrections. The protest caravan has grown to 65 vehicles since it started April 11. The protestors are urging Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to free the 73 immigration detainees at the lockup.
