8 arrested in police street sweep for outstanding warrants

MANCHESTER, NH – For the second week in a row, five members from the patrol division went to numerous addresses to pick up people on outstanding warrants. Ultimately, they located and arrested eight people who were wanted on various charges. The subjects were located at various locations throughout the city.


Charged were:

Yvonne Calawa: Warrant for criminal mischief.

Osvaldo Cancela: Warrant for theft by unauthorized taking, felony; and criminal trespass.

William Rosa: Warrant for burglary; theft by unauthorized taking, felony; and criminal mischief.

John Hargis: Warrant for stalking; and violation of protective order.

Sarah Hale: Warrant for theft by unauthorized taking, felony.

Wilfredo Morales: Warrant for criminal threatening, felony.

Robert Bergmann: Warrant for conduct after an accident.

Daniel Sherburne: Warrant for simple assault and violation of bail conditions. Sherburne was also charged with resisting arrest/detention and violation of bail.
