8 arrested in prostitution sting

MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester Police Special Enforcement Division in conjunction with the Uniform and Community Policing division conducted a prostitution detail April 19  after receiving several quality-of-life complaints in the area of Lincoln and Laurel streets.

The day-long investigation netted eight arrests. The first arrest was around 8:20 a.m. when Noorullah Azizi, 27,  agreed to exchange money for sexual favors with a plainclothes officer. Azizi was taken into custody by a marked unit a short time later. He was charged with prostitution.

The next arrest occurred around 9:30 a.m. when an undercover officer, who was operating an unmarked vehicle, was approached by Kira Crayton, 23, in the area of Lincoln and Hanover streets. Crayton was arrested and charged with prostitution after agreeing to exchange money for sexual favors with the plainclothes officer.

In the area of Lincoln and Laurel streets police say John Igeihon, 44, approached an undercover officer, and he agreed to pay money for sexual favors. Igeihon was arrested by officers in a marked police cruiser and charged with prostitution.

At 11:25 a.m. in the area of Union and Beech streets,Alijah Kapetanovic, 56, pulled up in a van and agreed to pay cash for sexual favors. He was taken into custody and charged with prostitution.

On Manchester Street,  Mistie Donoghue Bourgeois, 28, approached an undercover officer and agreed to perform sexual favors in exchange for money. Donoghue Bourgeois was taken into custody and charged with prostitution and contempt of court.

Around 1:25 p.m. Joshua Mimms, 42, pulled onto the west side of Lincoln Street between Laurel and Merrimack. Mimms spoke with an undercover officer and agreed to pay for sexual favors.  Mimms was arrested and charged with prostitution.

At about 1:50 p.m., Julio Samaniego, 30, approached an officer on Lincoln Street, and he agreed to pay cash for sex. Samaniego was arrested and charged with prostitution.

The last arrest was Robert Connolly, 71. He approached an officer around 2:10 p.m. Police say Connolly agreed to exchange money for sexual favors. He was taken into custody and charged with prostitution.

All eight were released on personal recognizance bail and scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on May 23, 2019.
