MANCHESTER, NH – Candy canes for a cause = super sweet, on both counts.
If you’re a chocolate lover, you may want to adjust your weekend schedule – Van Otis Chocolates is opening its doors on Dec. 2nd, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for a holiday candy cane demonstration at its downtown location, 341 Elm St.
Customers will be able to watch experienced candy makers handcraft candy canes the old-fashioned way. At the end of the demonstration, participants will be handed a sample candy cane, ready to be dipped in chocolate and decorated just the way you like it.
The price for each participant is $5, and half of the proceeds will go to benefit the many important programs at EastersealsNH. Additional donations on behalf of EastersealsNH will be accepted at the shop.
In addition, a large milk chocolate Santa will be raffled off in the store. This event is suitable for candy lovers of all ages.
