MANCHESTER, NH — Police have arrested Sandra Quintanilla, 39, of Manchester following an investigation into drug activity at the Maple Street apartment where she resides with her four children, including an infant.

Members of the Manchester Police Department’s Special Enforcement Division executed a drug related search warrant at 73 Maple St. on November 16. Detectives entered the apartment around 2:40 p.m. and located Quintanilla. She was arrested on the spot on two outstanding warrants for sale of a narcotic drug.

Detectives located and seized 5.9 grams of crack-cocaine, more than $1,000 in cash, and small plastic bags commonly used to package narcotics from inside the apartment. Quintanilla’s eight-month-old child was sleeping inside a back bedroom. Quintanilla’s other three children were at school at the time of the incident. All four kids reside in the apartment with their mother, so they were placed in the care of DCYF because Quintanilla had no family to speak of in the immediate area.

Quintanilla was charged with two counts of sale of a narcotic drug and was scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on November 17, 2016.
